Ms. Angela Mbagwu from Stratton Public Library came out to meet and greet parents and students during Smitha's Open House on Thursday. She gave out public library card applications, bookmarks, and pencils all while explaining to interested folks all the wonderful programs the public library has to offer.
The new school year is going to be a great one! We are kicking it off with orientations with 6th graders. We want to get everyone excited about reading and so our first themed event is "If you liked the movie, you will love the book." Please come check out our great selection of books that have been turned into movies of television shows. We are sure you will agree that the original verson is far superior. We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

AuthorI am Mrs. Speir. This is my second year as Smitha's Media Specialist. I have been an educator for 25 years. Besides my four years experience as a Media Specialist, I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. I have a fantastic husband, and two beautiful daughters who are in 7th and 11th grade. I love to travel, garden, kayak and be creative. I enjoy learning new things and solving problems. I am so happy to be part of the Smitha team! Archives
